Dermatologist
Dr. Mandy L. Ramani, MD
Dr. Mandy Ramani brings 32 years of dermatology expertise and a deep clinical understanding of how materials and ingredients affect the skin. Board-certified in dermatology, she has spent her career at the intersection of clinical practice and medical education.
Dr. Ramani earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and completed her residency at LAC USC Medical Center, where she also served as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology for 25 years. She runs a private practice in La Cañada Flintridge, California.
Her clinical perspective helps CUFT® ensure that what we make is genuinely safe for the skin that matters most.
Former Cosmetic Chemist & Content Creator
Rose Hall
Rose Hall is a former cosmetic chemist-turned-content creator and the voice behind @byrosehall, where she helps mothers cut through marketing noise and make genuinely non-toxic choices for their families. Before trading the lab for a camera and building @byrosehall, a community rooted in clean eating, non-toxic living, and intentional motherhood. Becoming a first-time mom to her son sharpened a question she'd been asking her whole career: what are we actually putting on and around our bodies, and does the marketing match the ingredient list? That same question is why she joined CUFT® as an Educational Advisor. Underwear is one of the most constant points of contact between fabric and skin, and Rose brings a chemist's eye to the materials, construction, and claims behind it.
Her role is to help make CUFT®'s education clear, credible, and free of the buzzwords, so people can understand what they're wearing and why it matters, without needing a science degree to follow along.
Microplastics & Sustainability
Madeleine MacGillivray
Madeleine MacGillivray (she/her) is a microplastics and sustainability specialist with 12+ years of experience researching, educating, and consulting on microplastics and fibers pollution and solutions across NGO, material tech startup, fashion and beauty, and public sector. Madeleine chairs the Microfibers Working Group of P-SNAP, and is a 10 year 5Gyres Advisory Board Member. She holds an MS in Sustainability Management at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies and a BA in Environmental Policy from Barnard. She has delivered keynote talks in Sydney, led workshops at Cornell and FIT, spoken at WHO, and hosted conversations for UN Fashion x Oceans.
Madeleine's research helps CUFT® stay ahead of the science on microplastics and fibers, so our customers never have to worry about what they can't see.
Biochemist
Lydia Dupree
Lydia Dupree is a biochemist and author of peer-reviewed articles in her field. With a degree in biochemistry from Fairfield University — where she focused on the body's metabolic processes — Lydia brings a scientific lens to the intersection of fashion, health, and everyday chemical exposure.
Her work explores how the fashion industry impacts our health and environment, and how to make nontoxic choices without overhauling your entire life. She collaborates with experts across fashion, nutrition, and integrative health to make the science of clean living accessible and actionable.
Lydia's biochemistry background helps CUFT® connect the dots between what's in our products and what that actually means for the body wearing them.

As a mother-daughter team, Elizabeth and Gabrielle have always been sensitive to the health and well-being of the women around them. They were born to a line of strong, smart, selfless and thoughtful Italian women who oftentimes put loved ones' care in front of their own. Inspired by their familial traditions, travels and local charity work, Elizabeth and Gabrielle sought out to create a purposeful brand made for women's health.
